Preserving and Using Photos in Family History - Classes at @RootsTech 2018
Photos enrich the stories of our ancestors and provide clues that are hiding in plain sight. RootsTech will offer 15 classes dealing with pictures and photography. Options include royalty-free and public domain images that you can use in your writing and storytelling projects, how to preserve photos for the future, and how to make discoveries by looking at the subtler points of a photograph.
Many of these classes are targeted toward genealogists for all skill levels.
Photos are some of the most overlooked first steps in genealogy. Join Devon in a Getting Started Track genealogy class that covers pictures and tree climbing!
Labs
In addition to lecture-style classes, there are two hands-on computer-based labs available. Remember these classes cost an additional fee beyond your regular registration.
* Please note class times are subject to change or cancellation.

If you don't find a class during an hour that appeals to you, be prepared for mini-classes in the Expo Hall to fill the void. Stay tuned, and we'll keep this month of RootsTech madness going!!!
We're pleased to announce our line-up of guests who will stop by our booth at RootsTech for a Meet & Greet.
